Dr. Jiří Kotek is a colorectal surgeon with a broad clinical and academic interest in colorectal disease. His PhD research focused on a multimodal approach to patients with colorectal cancer, with particular emphasis on postoperative complications and improving outcomes following colorectal surgery.
His current clinical and research interests include inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), pelvic floor disorders and surgery, and the full spectrum of proctological conditions. He is particularly interested in advancing multidisciplinary approaches to complex colorectal and pelvic floor disorders and improving patient outcomes.
