Dr. Anne Thyø is a surgeon working at the surgical department, Randers Regional Hospital, Denmark.
She was certified as colorectal surgeon in May 2024.
Her research focus is late side-effects after colorectal cancer treatment, with special interest in sexual side effect.
Dr. Thyø defended her PhD dissertation entitled: Aspects of female sexual dysfunction in colorectal cancer patients in 2020.
She has experience in development of Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs) and is part of the research-group in the Danish Cancer Society National Research Centre for late adverse effect to cancer in the pelvic organs.
Dr. Thyø is a board member of the Danish Colorectal Cancer Group and the Danish Surgical Society.
