Claudia DiVenti

RN, BSN, LARS Nurse Educator and LARS Research Nurse

Claudia DiVenti, BSN, RN, is a low anterior resection syndrome (LARS) expert and nurse research coordinator who manages studies and quality improvement initiatives on rectal cancer survivorship at Cleveland Clinic Florida Digestive Disease Institute. In February of 2025, Cleveland Clinic Florida's Digestive Disease Institute introduced the first Low Anterior Resection Syndrome (LARS) Center in North America to provide ongoing support to rectal cancer patients from diagnosis through survivorship. Claudia's quality improvement initiative intervention has been implemented into standard care at the novel LARS center. Claudia, her colorectal surgery colleagues, and the Maroone Cancer Center has also created a monthly support group for colorectal cancer patients, survivors, and their caregivers. The LARS center involves clinical care, ongoing support, peer support opportunities, and much more. Upon graduation of both MSN and DNP degrees in May of 2025, she plans to transition into a nurse practitioner who oversees this LARS center, as well as continuing with research and quality improvement endeavors.
