Gabrielle van Ramshorst is a Consultant colorectal surgeon at Ghent University Hospital and Associate Professor at Ghent University in Belgium. Her clinical areas of interest include primary and recurrent colorectal cancer, gynecological oncology, and sarcoma surgery. She has authored over 170 peer-reviewed papers on translational and clinical research with a specific interest in pelvic exenteration surgery, quality of life, sexual function and reconstruction, patient reported outcomes and diversity. She is actively involved in the European Society of Coloproctology, the European Network of Young Gynaeco-oncologists, the Society of Surgical Oncology, the European Society of Surgical Oncology and the World Society of Surgical Oncology.
